Are we surprised? The notoriously, shaded twins always have on their signature look of oversize sunnies. The dynamic duo is introducing 2 styles, into their high end line, Elizabeth and James.


As reported in Elle News, the sunglasses debut in November of this year, available at Harvey Nichols. This launch will coincide with their Resort 2010 collection.

The line has two styles so far, that portray the typical New York and fashion forward consumer. "Hudson, a modern take on the aviator, and Fairfax, a retro frame." Both frames will be in sleek, shiny black with gold accents.

Hudson and Fairfax? Are the genius twins referring to their residences? Hudson in reference to the Hudson River in NY and Fairfax, a well known stretch in LA? Either way, I applaud these mavens and their forward thinking.

Elle News reports, "Announcing the launch this week, Ashley Olsen spoke of her excitement to "elevate Elizabeth and James with the addition of eyewear." The duo worked with designers at Absolute Black from across the globe via Skype, since the manufacturer is located in Hong Kong.

It is rumored that Mary-Kate and Ashley are planning an expansion into Handbags by Spring 2011 and a standalone Elizabeth and James' location in the next year.
