Vanity Fair-y

Wow.. Wow.. Wow! Lady Gaga has never looked better! The Pop-star, who famously said on Larry King June 1st, that she will never be spotted without sunglasses, was spotted frame-less looking FAB!

Listen up, little monsters! Lady Gaga goes GRAY hot on the cover of Vanity Fair’s September Style issue.

How the 24 year- old fashion/music superstar had time to pose for this cover that was captured by photographer, Nick Knight, styled or in this case not styled by her stylist, Nicola Formichetti is beyond me.

She kicked off her Monster Ball 2010 not too long ago and has even extended the tour until next year.

Gaga has definitely been working very hard and she even commented/tweeted on her hard work lately on Wednesday (July 28th) by saying:

“I push harder, dance longer, bleed stronger. I don’t want the greatest KISS tribute band of all time, I want the real band. I want KISS.”

Obviously, this "release" of the cover was a clever teaser and Vanity Fair said on their site today, "For once, the Internet rumors are true: Lady Gaga will grace the cover of our September Style issue. Here is a preview of the cover. Tune in Monday morning for additional details, and more from the upcoming issue."

Going GRAY in Hollywood has never looked so good!

Jennifer Aniston Smells Good!

Jennifer Aniston, former "Friends" star and tabloid queen, launched her debut scent, and she is a clever name picker, may I add. She ultimately ended up choosing a name that she, or in this case Angie, wouldn't forget. Jennifer Aniston Eau de Parfum.

She originally chose the name Lolavie, but was afraid that it was to similar to Marc Jacobs bestseller, Lola.

Lolavie, a french phrase "laughing at life", was said by the actress in April to Women's Wear Daily: "It's a long story and honestly it's too personal to tell, but it has a special significance."

She told London's Reuters that it took her two years to come up with the right mixture of scents and smells, "I knew what I didn't want to smell like that's for sure," Aniston said. "I brought in a hair serum, a candle, a lotion, a sort of combination of all these things."

So why not push back the launch, which was held Wednesday (July 21, 2010) in London to pick another name? Aniston told Reuters, "At such a late hour, I didn't want to postpone the launch so the only thing we could really clear (in terms of rights to perfume titles) was my name."

The 41-year-old actress looked fantastic Wednesday night, showing of her signature toned, tanned and incredible legs in a form-fitting champagne Valentino mini.

The new perfume is a mixture of citrus, rose water, wild violets, amber and jasmine. Aniston wanted the perfume to have a reminding natural scent from her love of warm temperatures growing up in California and family trips to Greece.

emMY Goodness!

Tony oh Tony! Where for art thou Tony?

At last night's Tony Award's (Sunday June 13th) "Hollywood took on Broadway" and they surely came to shine.

The fashion chooses equally disappointed me as well as impressed me. With bad shapes, colors and styles but also fabulous couture, I just didn't know where to begin.

Today we have a few "The HIT-List" Winners, some uhh Predictables and some What We're They REALLY Thinking?

Winners: Scarlett Johannson, Lea Michele and the lovely Naomi Watts

Scarlett Johannson

The ever so elegant, modern pin-up dream girl, looked beyond radiant last night when she won an Emmy for "Best Actress in a Play" for her role in 'A View From A Bridge'.

She wore a beautiful double shouldered strap, sparkly and form fitting black Elie Saab gown and Harry Winston jewels to complete the classic look.

Lea Michele

This Glee-ful bright star lit up the carpets in her yellow and dreamy gown by the amazing designer Zac Posen.

The color, the look, the hair, EVERYTHING was on point with this look. Keeping her accessories simple with a gold box clutch.

Naomi Watts

How many light bulb watts does it take to look this good?

Light bulbs? Not so much, but it takes one Naomi to nail a look that is simple, rich and classy.

She dazzled the Red Carpet when she accompanied husband and nominee, Liev Schreiber to the ceremony.

She wore a bold shouldered RM by Roland Mouret cream gown, Marchesa clutch and Fred Leighton jewels. BEAUTIFUL!

Now for the "Uh Okay Close but No Cigar" and Predictable looks

Catherine Zeta Jones, Lucy Liu and Paula Abdul

Catherine Zeta-Jones

I love her! Don't get me wrong. Everything about this Actress reeks Sophistication, but this look not only was predictable for the star but also too much.

The pale blue Atelier Versace gown that she referenced Cinderella when having trouble getting on stage to accept her award. "She asked how did Cinderella do it?" The dress did in some way remind me of a Cinderalla-esque inspired wedding gown wouldn't you agree? But she did win with her glamorous Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Lucy Lui

The color wasn't the bad part, neither was the jewels but the attraction in the middle just makes the petite actress look like she's hiding a pregnancy bump... No rumors to be started.

This pastel pink, strapless Marchesa gown, Roger Vivier clutch and Stephen Russell jewels were beautiful and but not something you would expect Ms. Lui to wear, but a dress you expect to see nonetheless.

Paula Abdul

The member to join the CBS family is Paula Abdul with her new show "Got to Dance."

News to be very excited for but the scream dress Eva and Paula. Ms. Longoria and Ms. Abdul are always known for their flowy, feathery, wedding combos but I would have expected something a bit more out of the norm for Paula last night.

The Tony Ward Couture gown was gorgeous but come on Paula show us what ELSE you got!!

You ready now? For "The Black-List"?

Cate Blanchett, Katie Holmes and Kristin Chenoweth

Not going to say either of these leading ladies looked horrid but they did lack taste and the level of appropriateness for the event.

Cate Blanchett

Her look is always hitting the right notes and signature pose always displays her confidence but I'm afraid she was TOO confident with this look.

The aluminum foil/UFO inspired suit by Armani Prive just didn't make sense.

This is definitely a look, along with most looks from the Prive collection that is made entirely for Lady Gaga.

She finished this look with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and a Roger Vivier clutch.

Katie Holmes

The silver maxi by Armani Prive and wedges are too summer and too casual for a night out with some A-List Celebs.

The overall look just seemed like she got back from accompanying, Suri at the park.

Katie, we all know your a mom and a busy lady but at least try sometimes to show you are still an actress.

Kristin Chenoweth

I don't know how old Kristin is and I don't think she does either.

The look was just a tad over the "sexy" border and a bit too short.

The white Tony Ward Couture mini dress and Brumani jewels looked like she was trying a bit too hard.

But other than that it was a night with unforgettable moments and a hilarious host, Will and Grace's, Sean Hayes.

Spike This!!

On Saturday (June 5th) the all manly, star studded celebration of testosterone, announced it's winners of the 4th Annual Spike "Guys Choice Awards," the TV "Guys Choice" awards in other words. The event was held at the Sony Studios in Los Angeles.

Do the Starlets know just how to "turn" the men on or what? Today's "The HIT-List" has more than just one or two winners but 4 all together!

The Winners are: Sandra Bullock, Charlize Theron, Kelly Osbourne and Scarlett Johansson.

Sandra Bullock

She didn't just nab the "Entertainer of the Year" award but she wowed the audience with her surprise and unexpected appearance. I guess when she said in her MTV acceptance speech just the next day (Sunday June 6th) that she wanted things to go back to normal she meant it. She looked incredible in a skin tight leather dress, very sexy and daring, yet very sophisticated. I'm glad to see you back Sandy!

Charlize Theron

South African beauty Charlize Theron, who was on hand to pick up the well-deserved "Hottest Woman of the Decade" award, looked amazing in a leather combo as well. A beautiful one shouldered, black Versace top, leather mini skirt, and fierce metallic heels.

Kelly Osbourne

Shown here with brother, Jack. Looked incredible in a black Isabella Oliver dress and a daring yet fitting Betsey Johnson leopard print jacket.

I'm happy to see how happy and healthy the Osbourne's are all doing. Good for them.

Scarlett Johansson

Sandy B might have wowed with her appearance but it was her "Proposal" co-star's other half who stole the amazing look award.

She was a sunny addition to the sex driven awards, in this beautiful yellow Preen dress and understated but sexy nude Jimmy Choo sandals.

AF I don't want to look!

At last night's (June 10th) AFI + TV Lands Award ceremony at Sony Studios in Culver City, Hollywood came out to honor director Mike Nichols, who received the 38th AFI Life Achievement Award.

"Mike Nichols is one of the few individuals who has actually won an Oscar, an Emmy, a Tony, and a Grammy. That is an amazing feat almost unheard of." But, though it should have been all about Mr. Nichols it was also about the "Where have they been- Ex Celebrity" Star gala.

Among guests were Cher, Candice Bergen, Calista Flockhart and Warren Beatty. As well as the top dogs, Harrison Ford, Michael Douglas, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and the beautiful Natalie Portman and Meryl Streep.

Apparently there was a theme with wardrobe and EVERYONE got the memo. Lady Gaga picked up what Betty White put down. Granny Chic.

There were Youngin's wearing Granny attire and Granny's wearing Youngin' attire!! Madness I say, Pure Madness!!

Calista Flockhart

Arrived hand in hand with long time love Harrison Ford, but brought the wrong attention to her, umm "outfit". The petite actress wore a busy print dress, that had absolutely no shape. Her look aged her ungraciously 10 years.

Natalie Portman

The beautiful Natalie Portman surprised me and possibly the crowd. The look wasn't "bad" but it wasn't right.

It might have been the color, but the look didn't suit her age and maturity. It was too young in the color and too old in the shape.

This blush lace dress from Dior, rosette-embellished pumps and a velvet clutch, just screamed STOP!

Now, speaking of Granny's switching rolls with their children, prime example was the always attractive, yet unfashionable (sorry) Cher!

Cher

I love you Cher! and I always will. From your gorgeous hair to amazing voice. But really?? Your look is sooo umm "Wicked".

Yeah, I admit you have a great body for your age but please for us all! No more shopping in the Halloween section!

At least SOMEONE dressed their age, but that's what also scares me just a tad. Age sometimes also means appropriate but on the other side is also still means NICE and this get-up doesn't side with either of those pre-reqs.

Candice Bergen

Candice Bergen arrived in a very SHINY and unattractive number.

Come on Murphy Brown! let's channel your pant suit days in a better fabric, shape and color!!

Oh well, sometimes its comfort over style. At least I hope it was in these instances.

Congratulations Mr. Nichols
! Let us still remember, it is for you they arrived.

"The TV Land 38th AFI Life Achievement Award to honor Mick Nichols will be aired on June 26 on TV Land."

Biel-lionaire

Jessica is a Biel-lionaire!

Ms. Jessica Biel has done it again! This time it wasn't to promote her movie, A-Team either.

The cutie sent from Heaven has made a daring yet very sophisticated choice for the N.Y.C. launch of hairstylist, Mark Townsend's web magazine, MARKTBeauty.com.

Biel, graces the June web pages of MARKTBeauty.com in different looks from a "blue-eye shadowed boho babe to an Eighties glamazon, and even an Edie Sedgwick-inspired blonde look."

To the launch on Tuesday (June 8th) she wore a beautiful emerald green ruffled Oscar de la Renta blouse and embroidered, royal blue skirt and diamond earrings from Tiffany & Co.

She looked marvelous and very fresh. Her looks are now featured on Townsend's site with styling tips on how to achieve the looks.

Not going to lie, I am obsessed with the black black, low plunging, sequined Ralph Lauren dress she is wearing in the 3rd picture from the site. Bravo Jessica! You have marked "The HIT-List" Hall of Fame!

To get the looks, Townsend used the entire Moroccan Oil hair care line, that you can purchase at any beauty store or salon. Check out a Carlton Hair Salon near you or go to www.carltonhairinternational.com

CMT (Carrie Meets Taylor)

CMT- Country Music Awards showdown or is it called a hoedown? Whatever you want to call it these Country Babes have what it takes, in the style department. My top picks, which are also the most surprising, not because they won "The HIT-List" Awards but what they chose to wear. They both stepped out of the box and surprised viewers by going the opposite of the norm.

Country Queen, Carrie Underwood and Country Princess, Taylor Swift looked phenomenal last night (June 9th) at the CMT Awards in, non other than, Nashville, Tenn., home of the Country Music Phenomenon.

Taylor Swift turned heads in a great way. She showed up on the Blue Carpet in a beautiful cooper red John Galliano bubble dress and beautiful heels. What surprised the audience the most is her straight hair and like of glitter prom-esque dresses she usually wears at these events.

Another surprising beauty also wowed fans. Carrie Underwood, traded in her short, one shouldered, light colored, embroidered dresses for a beautiful bright pink, sheer Jenny Packham mini with a plunging neck and beautiful silver and black embellishments. She also wore a gorgeous clutch by the designer and amazing heels.

Other country babes that also graced the entrance to the awards were: Julianne Hough and Lady Antebellum's, Hillary Scott.

Julianne Hough

This Dancing with the Stars and now Country singer, showed us what dancing really does a body good. She wore a beautiful yellow, sparkly Georges Hobeika dress with just minimal jewelry, muted heels and clutch which really showcased her jewel of an ensemble.

Hillary Scott

This Lady, looked amazing in a gorgeous A-Symmetric black, tight and sparkly David Meister dress and smokey makeup. She definitely looked like a winner.

Now, you know this wouldn't be "The HIT-List" if I didn't also feature the winners of "The Black-List" as well. Yes, I call them winners too, because losers, would be mean and they obviously caught my attention. So, being the optimistic and generous person/critic that I am, they are also winners in my book... I guess.

So here are the "winners" of last night's, CMT "The Black-List":
Hayden Panettiere and Kellie Pickler.

Hayden Panettiere

Okay the teal is amazing, but the teal hoochie mama, greek goddess meets Bambi the stripper isn't what I call, "pretty."

It's a shame to see a dress by, Emilio Pucci land on this list, but it just isn't working here. The colors are terrific with Hayden's newly cut, blonde, pixie hair, but the look?... not so much.

Kellie Pickler

Talk about style overload. Kellie wore a black and gold (mostly gold) Zuhair Murad number. Though the dress has potential the overly accessorized, "matchy match" shoes and stick straight hair... makes this a style Don't.

But, of course, I would like to congratulate the winners of last night fun-filled ceremony:
