Hi Loves-
It's true... I am back.
I won't lie- I was a bit hesitant to revive this blog. Reason A- I believe Bloggers, these days, are getting WAY too much credit for what they "do". I feel that social media has given us a platform to post/say, do, etc everything we want.. which is good.. but also it has given most people a platform to get gifted items, travel the world and attend the hottest shows only because of the amount of followers they have.
I began my blogging "career" and I say that lightly because I did not make a career out of it - but I started because I wanted to be a writer.. I wanted to research, learn and experience fashion and report back in a very educated way. I attended college to be a journalist and then attended Fashion School so I can use the correct verbiage when writing.
But all in all - I am back because I don't really care who listens.. as long as I am writing.
SOOOOOOOOO without further ado - I recently used the new Ole Henriksen Balancing line that I received from Influenster. I am OBSESSED with skincare.. to the extent that if I could go back in time I would go back to college to earn a degree in Dermatology.
The older you get the more attention you give to your skin.. I want to look 30 forever.. seriously. So thankfully I was one of the few that received this voxbox that contained: Find Your Balance Oil Control Cleanser, Toner and Hydrator.
I AM LITERALLY IN LOVE! It gives your skin the right amount of clean without stripping the essential oils. It is a must try and I would not just say that.
The Cleanser alone - I wanted to keep washing my face - it made my skin feel fresh and completely hydrated.
The Toner- smelled and made my skin feel cool, calm and light. I didn't want to mess up that feeling with makeup.. so I didn't :).
The Hydrator - now that was new to me... not a bad new.. an interesting new. I never thought oil would balance an already oily complexion.. but boy was I wrong.. it actually delivers enough oil that it doesn't create excessive.
All in all - this is definitely a must and should be on your beauty HIT LIST!
xoxo,
